Oktober Fest varianta romaneasca

Sa va spun ce am facut in week endul trecut?

Let me tell you what we did in the last week end? I went to Oktober Fest, of course!

I wanted to go to Balkanik Festival, but when I got there on Saturday we could not enter but the festival ticket for 2 days, 35 lei, which seemed for me slightly exaggerated. Therefore in protest, I went to parcul Tineretului to Oktober Fest.

Here, in a large rectangular tent has fun Romanian people surrounded of the smoke of hundreds of mici, sausages, pastrami, flavorings kurtosz colac and typical Prusac music.

Of course, as I stood at a short tail for the purchase of some food before going to stroll among beer offers more or less known and thus for the first time I found a pretty good and cheap Russian beer, Baltika. As  am not a beer drinker, but a gourmet eager new sensory experiences, I opted for no alcohol Baltika that delighted me.

The most interesting but difficult road appeared to go, when we crossed with two boxes of typical Bavarian pretzels: a giant marvel that conquered me at once and irrevocably!

Eventually I made a compilation beer / pretzel that kept me all the way home, with the following result:

The next day being Sunday, after a brief tour through the Vitan fair, we decided to honor again and for the last time the new and beautiful gathering from parcul Tineretului.

Said and done! Already knowing the local customs we stood right away to buy the wonderful pretzels, unfortunately did not have, but they said us will have again in about 2 hours.

We've got to work, rectum, on eating, drinking and commented, and all on the harmonies of known military music. My Danutzu managed to enter the atmosphere and to complete with this occasion his collection of mugs of beer with an interesting model.

Luckily at some point there was a gang of musicians who come from a brass band began playing live without feeling a tug at their heart strings against people who fought valiantly against the smoke, micii and cold beer.

Guys sang well and moreover integrated into the atmosphere and so after long deliberation we decided that probably they play at circus where they had done training in making long passages jumping aplomb.

Naturally occurring prezels and so I could port my triumphant day trophy: a new pretzel which was also devoured with some beer variety: Bernard without alcohol, red cherry and plum. A bottle of each kind, do not jump on me!

Oktober Fest I liked, even in the Romanian version ... and I think we shouldn’t do so much mischief to appear hypocritical when many new holiday overseas, life is difficult and complicated enough for us to create new problems discussed with pathos, when it is easier to adopt new holiday and to be glad that we have a new reason to celebrate life and that we still survive as humanly as in spite of all!

In light of this event it was a successful weekend and the next one I cannot wait to come see what I will find new stuff to do! We keep in touch!
